Start and end at Colombo Airport! With the sightseeing tour Sri Lanka 8 Day Trip, you have an 8-day tour package taking you through Kandy, Sri Lanka, and 9 other destinations in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka’s 8-days Trip includes accommodation in a hotel as well as an expert driver, insurance’, breakfast, transport, and more.
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), you will be met by our Holiday Lanka Tours chauffeur, and you will be taken to the Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage or Millennium Elephant Foundation. Transfer to Dambulla and visit the Dambulla Royal Cave Temple and Golden Temple. In the afternoon, reach your hotel in Sigiriya.
After breakfast, visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, which is probably one of the most visited tourist destinations in Sri Lanka. Thereafter, visit the local village and start a village tour. End of the village tour transfer to Polonnaruwa and city tour in Polonnaruwa. After the city tour, you will be taken to your hotel in Sigiriya.
Breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Anuradhapura, and start an ancient city tour, including visiting Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya, and other sites. At the end of the city tour, check in at your hotel in Anuradhapura and relax in the evening.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kandy while stopping and visiting the herbal spice garden in Matale. Reach Kandy at the afternoon check-in at your hotel and take a little rest. In the late evening, you will attend a spectacle of colorful and dynamic Kandyan dances. Overnight stay in Kandy.
After the breakfast city tour in Kandy, pay a visit to the sacred temple of the tooth relic, (Dalada Maligawa), which is considered the most prized treasure in Sri Lanka, and also visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya. End of the tour proceeds to the Peradeniya station to conduct a scenic train through the tea plantations to Nuwara Eliya. End of the train ride your chauffeur will meet you at the Nanuoya station. Visit Gregory Park and relax in the cool climate. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast, transfer to Ella via Hakgala Botanical Garden. In the afternoon visit Little Adam's Peak, Nine Arch Bridge, and Ella Rock viewpoint. Overnight in Ella.
After breakfast, proceed to Mirissa, visit Coconut Tree Hill and Parrot Rock Bridge leisurely by the beach, and enjoy the nightlife with a beach party. Overnight in Mirissa
Early morning starts a whale-watching boat tour. End of the boat safari proceeds to the airport and route visit Colombo city, including a shopping tour and sightseeing.
