A great opportunity to see all the most important, albeit in an abbreviated form, in one day – everything Sri Lanka is famous for among travelers: highlands and tea plantations, riding a train, the cutest baby elephants in the nursery of the Udawalawe reserve or a walk through a beautiful agricultural garden and the opportunity to see how they grow the most popular tropical fruits and more. If you do not have much time for a detailed examination of the central part of the island, then this program is just a godsend for you. The tour is suitable for a wide range of travelers who are interested in nature and who love hiking.

From your hotel or guest house we will head to Bandarawela station where we will board the train and at dawn, we will drive along part of the famous central line of the island’s railway to Demodara station (journey time 50 minutes). On the way, you will see tea plantations and pass along the famous nine-arch bridge.

Next, from Demodara, we will move to Ella and return to the nine-arch bridge to take beautiful photos and learn about the history of its construction.

Then we will climb the small peak of Adam to admire the beautiful views of mountain Ella, and after that, we will make our way to the nursery of baby elephants, where we will see how they are fed with milk.

On the way, we will stop at one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the island – Ravana.
